Ana is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and joined Hawkins Family Law in May 2017. She has over 9 years of experience within the family and civil litigation arena and now specialises in family law with a particular interest in complex financial issues arising from relationship breakdown and all child related issues.
Ana trained at Turner Kenneth Brown in London and completed her training at Thompson Webb & Caulfield in Cambridge. After qualification she joined Leeds Day solicitors working predominantly in the family law arena. Ana then moved to a locum position working in Cambridge assisting a variety of firms where her extensive experience of family law put her in high demand. An opportunity arose for her to start her own business using her legal skills and with her team she facilitated the provision of specialised reports to property lawyers nationally, thereby expanding her legal knowledge base even further and her understanding of running a business – an essential tool for a family lawyer.
Ana recognises that each client’s circumstances are different and unique to them. She adopts a pragmatic and sensitive approach to matters in order to assist the client in reaching an outcome which prioritises the client’s individual objectives and provides a long term solution.
