The team has been described by The Legal 500 (2019) as “a very professional team that delivers a high-class service and has strength-in-depth from senior to junior level.” She qualified as a solicitor in 1995. Having completed her training in London Rachel moved to a prominent Legal 500 firm in Staffordshire, Knight and Co, and headed up their family law department before moving to the commercial firm, Mace & Jones, in Liverpool where she was made a partner. Rachel joined us in 2016 and then subsequently took up a position as our Consultant Solicitor before returning as a full team member this year.

Rachel is committed to alternative dispute resolution and mediates regularly. Her mediation work provides her a wealth of skills that in turn assist her in providing a personal and compassionate approach at what is so often a traumatic time. She has an extensive experience in all family matters including high finance divorces, children matters and cohabitation disputes and is committed to finding dispute resolutions for her clients in a constructive and sensitive manner. This may be outside court through negotiations, round table meetings, mediation, a collaborative law approach, private FDR or arbitration, or within the court arena.

Rachel is a trained Mediator and Collaborative lawyer and like Jo and Loraine is a member of the Milton Keynes Collaborative Group and Milton Keynes Resolution Group.
